Abstract This paper introduces a nine-level (9L) boost inverter with reduced number of components. The proposed 9L topology comprises single DC source, eight switches, and two capacitors, namely switched-capacitor (SC) floating capacitor (FC). consists converter units: the SC unit FC unit. Both units are cascaded to achieve nine voltage levels gain 2. inherent boosting capability makes it suitable for low-scale applications like photovoltaics (PV) electric vehicles (EVs). A sensorless method is introduced stabilize requisite across any undesirable changes in input voltage. performance reveals that does not deviate modulation index, power factor load, pulse width (PWM) methods, or operating frequency. And, when fluctuates, naturally adjusted new desired value within 0.6 s. operates over wide range indices (0 1) different types loads. generalized also developed get high output along higher intermediate levels. comprehensive analysis presented show effectiveness recent topologies.
